Hommage à Dimebag Darrell
Requiem pour un riffeur
Le soir du 8 décembre, les membres du groupe Damageplan ont été pris pour cible par un détraqué armé, lors d'un concert dans l'Ohio à Colombus.
Dimebag Darrel, fondateur de Pantera puis Damageplan, sont décédés dans la fusillade. Le sort de Vinnie Paul est incertain, mais il y aurait plusieurs morts (de trois à cinq selon les sources) parmi le public et le personnel de la salle de concert.
Il était prévu depuis longtemps un défi dans le style de Dimebag Darrell. Ce guitariste hors pair s'est rendu célèbre dans le monde du metal grâce à un son typé, un sens créatif du riff à la fois lourd et rapide, et des solos à forte personnalité.
Vous pouvez faire hurler votre guitare en riffant à la Dimebag. C'était le langage préféré de Dimebag. Où qu'il soit maintenant, nul doute qu'il est déjà en train de faire vibrer les murs...

 Someone was shot in the thigh, I believe this to be the bassist involved, but at point blank range, this may be critical.
9) Three are dead (at this writing) one being the shooter. One is Daryl, I am nearly 95% sure the other is Pat.
10) The shooter shot at Vince, but he crawled away on the floor and hit the deck (and you would too so no bullshit posts)
11) The death toll is now at 5
12) FOr those of you arguing about stupid ####, it was a UNIFORMED POLICE OFFICER who snuck in the back and shot the gunman. The cops received the call at 10:18
13) Mitch was working. He is okay.
14) A Hammer Strength Sec guard was shot
15) The other confirmed dead is a security guard (not the above)
16) There are now 5 confirmed dead. |

Il était mon guitariste metal préféré. Je suis totalement abattu. J'espère encore que tout ça n'est qu'une blague... Je n'arrive même pas à mettre des mots sur mes sentiments. C'est jour de deuil pour le monde du metal.
